In today's ADG filler video, Gemini's taking a look at a modern indie game titled Planet Crafter, developed by Miju Games and having entered its full release status earlier this same year, 2024, back in April, having been in early access for some time up to that point. This is a game which feels as though it's filling a growing niche for games which have all the trappings and mechanics of non-casual games, while still playing somewhat like a casual game in terms of its low difficulty and lack of hostile encounters... I mean, unless you count the giant rocks trying to slam into you from outer space. :P

Additional Information and Corrections:
* To grab a copy for yourself, simply follow this link to the game's page on Steam:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1284190/The_Planet_Crafter/
* For some reason the game's "official" name is "The Planet Crafter" even though the game itself never refers to itself by this name, instead going by simply "Planet Crafter". Not... entirely certain what's up with that...?
* BTW: There's some other games I can recommend which have a similar non-threatening casual-but-not-casual feel to them, including Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles and Grow: Song of the Evertree, both made by the same developer, as well as The Coin Game, Autonauts, Infinifactory, and of course Slime Rancher which I covered a many years ago in a different filler video! (So long ago there's a SEQUEL now!)
* Something I feel I need to clarify about what's been shown of Project AB so far is that I've ONLY shown the level-editing aspects and literally ZERO gameplay. The best analogy I can come up with is to say... imagine if you saw the Build Editor being made to make Duke Nukem 3D levels, yet there's no Duke Nukem 3D assets yet. That's effectively what you're seeing of Project AB in this video. The only difference there is that Project AB's level editing capabilities will be built into the game itself and are entirely controlled from a first-person perspective. Make no mistake, the actual gameplay of Project AB will NOT be level editing! :B
