I've been asked a number of times now to do a programming-related video, but I've been hard pressed to come up with something which would make for a decent and generally appealing video which wouldn't need to span several dozen episodes. After a lot of thought though, I think I finally figured out a good way to do a programming video: By giving everyone a crash course in QBASIC! It still took an hour to cover but for anyone with even a remote interest in learning how to program, this will be well worth your time!

Additional Information and Corrections:
* Here's a download of the source code for the final program written in this video which you guys can freely mess around with:

* Although I COULD go into more advanced game coding topics, only the coders amongst you all will have any idea what I'm talking about. Generally speaking, if you want to get right into making games but have no idea how to code, you either need to enlist the help of others, join in on another project, or use a game creation system of some sort which will do much of the dirty work for you. It would take many dozens of videos to both explain and detail all of the aspects which go into making a game.
* Apologies for how freaking LONG this video is... There was absolutely no way to make it any shorter given the amount of content covered. Heck, despite being an hour long I'm willing to bet a bunch of you will feel I go over everything way too fast... hence why I called it a "Crash Course". ;)
* One modern option for people who don't have access to QBASIC or QuickBASIC is QB64, which is a Windows program which emulates much of what QuickBASIC could do. It can be found here for those curious about it:
