Experience the thrills and excitement of the movie in just 10 minutes! :D
Today on Ancient DOS Games Gemini's taking a look at Home Alone, one of the many adaptations of the movie by the same name, produced by Manley & Associates and published through Capstone Software in 1991.
This game isn't really bad, but it's extremely short and not very challenging with virtually no random factors to take into account, so in under a half hour you'll have pretty much experienced everything the game has to offer. Still, despite its length, it remains one of the better Home Alone games simply because it follows the movie better than many of the other releases and doesn't have many glitches to worry about. :B

Additional Information and Corrections:
* As I was re-watching my footage I noticed that some of the falling traps DO trigger on their own when Kevin's near them. It seems as though whether they auto-trigger or not is either based on the trap itself, or whether it's hung over a doorway or some other ceiling spot. It's hard to tell given that random chance is a factor with traps which can automatically activate.
* I also forgot to mention that once the burglary phase begins, you can't touch your traps, otherwise you break them. This can get really annoying really quickly as the hit detection isn't consistent between everything. :P
