Yes, it's true... I do not know how to touch type, or to be more precise, I never learned how to properly touch type because since childhood I had been developing my own method of typing which works significantly better for me, tailored for my slightly shorter than usual fingers and overall comfort, though honestly, so much of it is just instinct it's really hard to describe exactly how my typing method works... I kinda just do it. :P ------------------------------------------ Additional Information and Corrections: * One question I'm sometimes asked is what kind of keyboards I prefer. Because my typing method is highly instinctive, the shape of the keyboard makes a HUGE difference. I need a properly sized spacebar and shift keys, as well as the proper key sizes and full travel on the keystrokes. Beyond that, anything else goes, though I have a preference for illuminated keys too, just because I often find myself engrossed in work during the transition from sun up to sun down and don't want to have to reach for a light. :P * The reason my typing is so bad during Shovelware Diggers is three-fold. The first minor reason is that because I'm typing a lot of things that aren't real words, my brain isn't able to guide my fingers very readily, so by default I'm typing those things out more slowly. The second minor reason is because there's no necessity to go fast, so I simply don't feel like going fast. The major reason however is that I have the mic in front of my face so I have very poor visibility of the keyboard making it difficult to keep my hands in alignment. * The specific keyboard I'm using is a Logitech G910 Orion Spectrum which I recently picked up to replace an old Logitech G110 which lasted me a solid six or seven years until the spacebar started to go wonky.
