Well... it's not the WORST combat racing game I've ever played... pretty close though. :P
Today on Ancient DOS Games, Gemini's taking a look at Zephyr, a combat racing game put out by New World Computing in 1994 which looks great, sounds great, and plays exceptionally badly!

* Amazingly, this has ended up on Steam, as a company by the name of Ziggurat has acquired some old licenses and has been re-releasing them. So... if you want this game for whatever reason, you can get it digitally now!

* I've been informed that the in-game menu bug IS present on real hardware... but is also fixed in the v1.1 patch. :B
* Another somewhat neat thing about the game is that when you start a new run, you get to choose your callsign from a list which allows the game to refer to you vocally by that callsign... The only trick is it's not really used to any great effect. :P
