When it comes to inventory-based adventure games, once you know the solution there really isn't much point to playing through them again and again. But, early games like King's Quest had a bit more non-linearity to them, as well as a score counter, so it begs the question... what's the lowest score we could possibly have upon beating the game? This was a really fun one to put together because it was all about exploring every possible thing you could do and marking down the scores appropriately, plus it allowed me to clarify a little bit about how the scoring works, as well as point out how the ACTUAL maximum score is 160, not 158! ;) ------------------------------------------ Additional Information and Corrections: * Here's a link to download a PDF of the completed score sheet for your own personal viewing: http://www.pixelships.com/adg/files/kingsquestscoretable.pdf * If there's a way to get rid of the key and slingshot you could get the score down further, but as far as I know, attempting to drop either of those items fails. :P * Try not to mind the censoring of the very stabbed dragon. If you REALLY need to see it all bloody you can just play the game yourself! ;) * As pointed out by someone in the comments, earlier versions of the game had the ability to DROP items, thus it may be possible to get even lower scores in those versions. In later versions of the game though, such as the one I'm playing, attempting to drop stuff just tells the player there's no reason to do it. :P * Err... the elf is actually male, not female.
