I'm not quite sure giving a magic amulet to someone who barely understands what magic is would be a good idea... :P
Today on Ancient DOS Games, we're taking a look at The Legend of Kyrandia - Book One: Fables & Fiends, an inventory-based adventure made by Westwood Studios and published through Virgin Interactive in 1992. While not an amazing game by any means, it has a couple unique mechanics which will either draw you in or push you away. Clearly there was some interest though, given that there were not just one but TWO sequels! :B

Additional Information and Corrections:
* Here's a link to the page on GOG you can buy this game from:

* If it seems like I'm a little angrier than usual in this video and stumbling on my words more than usual, it's because this has actually been an extremely stressful week for multiple reasons, part of which was BARELY finding the time to do the voiceover and I had to rush to get it done. x_x
* I never actually commented on the graphics... They're pretty good, though the caves repeat so much you'll be sick of looking at them by the time you finally find your way out. :P
* It seems there was only an Amiga version of the FIRST game in the series. The second and third games did not get Amiga ports. :(
