Perhaps not as alien as you might think! :O
Today on Ancient DOS Games, Gemini's taking a look at both Helious and Helious II, action games put out by Sean Puckett under his Albino Frog Software label back in 1993 which have a very, VERY unusual backstory as to how they came to exist...
But in terms of the games themselves, they're not bad. Nothing too amazing but there definitely weren't really any games quite like this pair back then.

Additional Information and Corrections:
* Here's a link to grab the first Helious game:

* And here's a link to grab Helious II:
https://www.dosgames.com/game/helious-2/
* Not to be confused with a very recently released game (as of 2021) called "Helios" which has absolutely NOTHING to do with this one. :P
* (SPOILER WARNING! Wait to read the next piece of additional info until after you watch the video!)
* I don't actually know much at all about how Multiple Personality Disorder works so if the things I speculate about later in the video seem impossible by logic of how it works at a medical level then I guess that would punch some holes in my own speculation. Still, I always find it an interesting challenge to find logic which can be applied to a story to try and find more reasonable/believable answers to explain the unexplainable. ;)
