Episode Originally Released: March 26th, 2011 ------------------------------------------ I'm pretty terrible at strategy games for the most part, but they are definitely a part of DOS gaming history, so even though I won't be covering very many such games, I'll be sure to cover one every once in awhile. Command & Conquer happens to be one of the most important ones to come out of the DOS era, so covering it sooner or later was a must. ;) ------------------------------------------ Additional Information and Corrections: * The link to download C&C Gold for free doesn't seem to be working anymore... BUT, there is a new C&C Remastered Collection available on Steam now which yes, is a paid product, but has 4K remastered graphics for all of the original C&C games (can still use classic graphics) among other updates and all the expansion content, so it's definitely worth a look if you want a modern way to play the old C&C games: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1213210/Command__Conquer_Remastered_Collection/ * One key I forgot to mention: Pressing the H key will instantly move the camera to your home base and select your Construction Yard. Useful if you suddenly come under attack and aren't focused on your base. * I do apologize for the lack of footage I have of the more advanced units and base pieces. Again, I'm not very good at this game, despite the fact I understand the strategies that come into play.
