Who DOESN'T want to fly World War IV aircraft? ...waitaminute...
Today's Ancient DOS Game is Evasive Action, a combat flight sim (sort of) developed by Glyn Williams under his Particle Systems banner and published in 1993 through The Software Toolworks in the Americas and Mindscape in the UK.
This game is a curious anomaly in that it has some unique ideas and concepts and some decent graphics and music to go with it, but the gameplay itself is as basic as you can get for this kind of game.

Additional Information and Corrections:
* I didn't show this in the video but the space era map actually has two different areas each about 6 MILLION metres apart from each other. I did the math and calculated that in order for the two players to actually cross that distance if they end up at opposite spawn points would require FOUR HOURS of flight time. If there's a way to cross that expanse faster, like a hypergate or something, I have no idea what it is. :P
