Pretty much what you get when you combine Jill of the Jungle with wolves and copious amounts of Skooma! :D
Today on Ancient DOS Games, Gemini's taking a look at Inner Worlds, a technically advanced but very twitchy platformer developed and published by Sleepless Software around 1995/1996. While it's not a bad game by any stretch of the imagination, it's definitely rough around the edges and is mostly going to appeal on an aesthetic level over a gameplay level with its fluid animation and tracker-style music.

Additional Information and Corrections:
* If you'd like to get the freeware release (at least, until it disappears) follow this link to the DOS Games website:
https://www.dosgames.com/game/inner-worlds
* Once the freeware release is gone or if you'd prefer to support the authors all the same, the game can instead be purchased on Steam by following this link:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1224490/Inner_Worlds/
* I've had it confirmed that the jitter you sometimes see in this game occurs on real hardware too. :P
* Although the game was technically sold primarily by mail order, I have learned that there were a few copies which DID reach store shelves, either as CDs in jewel cases or selves, notably a French translation. I imagine these are just as difficult to find, as likely is the French translation of the game. :P
* One quick thing I forgot to mention: Because of how long the story is you'll sometimes come to moments where the automatic scrolling of the story text will just not fit with your own reading pace. If you press any directional key while text is automatically scrolling it will stop auto-scrolling and allow you to scroll the text manually!
