The first one was great so the second one's also gonna be awesome, right? ...RIGHT?!
In today's episode of Ancient DOS Games, Gemini's finishing off Edutainment Month with Thinkin' Things Collection 2, another activity studio program released by Edmark in 1995 as the continuation to the first Thinkin' Things Collection, aimed at older kids.
Even though the first collection was phenomenal, it teetered on the edge of being pure entertainment over edutainment. This one, despite being billed as educational software, has virtually no educational value to it whatsoever, as the "educational" aspects have been handled very poorly, but it's still entertaining despite that.

Additional Information and Corrections:
* One thing I find very intriguing is that the screenshots used in the manual are from an earlier version of the software and are missing certain things which were added in later. Also, the Windows/Mac versions, since they don't support the 640x350 graphics mode, instead move all of the status bars to the bottom of the screen and give a little more horizontal space to the main sections, thus why screenshots you may find online look a little different compared to what you're seeing here.
* I'm told that there IS a CD release of this game out there which contains both the DOS and MacOS versions together, but apparently it's excessively rare as it didn't last long on the market before being replaced with the more common Windows + MacOS release.
