Guaranteed unsafe for kids or your money back! ;D
Today on Ancient DOS Games, Gemin's taking a look at Toonstruck, an inventory-based adventure title developed by Burst and published by Virgin Interactive in 1996... which sounds incredibly mundane compared to the notion that this game features an all-star cast of acting/vocal talent, mixes live action with animated cartoons, and while 90% of this game is stuff that's more than appropriate for all ages, the other 10% will have you racing to turn the computer off if you let your children see it! ;)

Additional Information and Corrections:
* If you'd like to grab this game digitally, here's a link to do so from GOG:
https://www.gog.com/game/toonstruck/?pp=91dfde1d6e005e422f64a59776234f1f4c80b5e4
* It turns out both the GOG and Steam versions run through ScummVM... I keep forgetting to check ScummVM compatibility with this stuff. In this case, chances are that would be the better way to run it given the difficulties DOSBox was having.
* I somehow completely forgot to mention that there's also a grabby-hand icon to indicate that you can use an object that's already in the world without picking it up or such. Heck, it shows up right at the start of the video before I even say anything! :P
* There's a number of characters which didn't make an appearance in this video as they're either mostly from the second act or I didn't have a good way to show footage of them, such as Ms. Fortune and Spike the Clown.
* One little thing I should probably mention is that the opening and ending cinematics are actually interlaced. For the sake of everyone's sanity I deinterlaced the parts of the opening cinematic I showed in this video. All other cinematics are not interlaced and I think this is because in order to get Drew's fully formed studio into the video properly, given that it's shot on a set with a moving camera, they needed to compress those cinematics differently and/or to a greater extent.
