I really should've tried exploring the world once I went out of bounds... :o
Today on Ancient DOS Games, Gemini's taking a look at the 1988 release of Galactix, which is very different from the 1991 release as it was made by someone entirely different, Richard L. Wright, and published as public domain software through the European magazine PC Plus. This game's intriguing for sure but has some weird, yet brilliant, controls, and isn't a very long game at all once you know what you're doing.

* My tip about getting as much distance from the red aliens as possible doesn't ALWAYS hold true. In fact, if you're stuck having to shoot one of these guys which you're pretty sure will be able to hit you no matter what, then try getting up to point-blank instead so that there's a greater chance you'll luck into the first shot and instantly defeat the alien!
* This space reserved for tips on how to get 100%. :B
