Not your typical AGI title! :o
Today on Ancient DOS Games, Gemini's taking a look at Space Quest Chapter II: Vohaul's Revenge, an inventory-based adventure game made by the Two Guys from Andromeda: Mark Crowe and Scott Murphy, and published by Sierra On-Line in 1987.
There's two key reasons why this game's as atypical as it is for a Sierra AGI game: It's quite a bit more cinematic, with a lot more cutscenes and linearity going on, and it's a LOT shorter than most with a surprisingly small number of items to grab over the course of it. :P

Additional Information and Corrections:
* If you wanna grab the game as part of the Space Quest 1+2+3 pack on GOG, follow this link:

* Or if you'd prefer to grab all six Space Quest games together in one package on Steam, follow this link:

* It's also a good idea to set the machine type to "tandy" when playing in DOSBox in order to get the Tandy 3-voice sound going. Forgot to mention that since usually machine type settings are a matter of preference, but in this case, the 3-voice sound is just way better than the PC Speaker sound. :P
* One thing I failed to mention in the video: Despite how cinematic the game is the ending is INCREDIBLY WEAK. Heck, there's technically multiple endings, but it's pretty much just variations on a final text box. :P
