Originally Released: May 5th, 2012 ------------------------------------------ Space Fortress II was a game I was working on about a year prior to my second attempt to start Ancient DOS Games, way back in 2009. When I finally got a job working at a call centre after being without work for far too long, I found I simply didn't have time to work on this game anymore. Since then, my game design goals have shifted quite a bit and Space Fortress II was simply far too outdated to resurrect, plus it would've had a very limited audience given its highly complex gameplay. I have abandoned the game for an indefinite amount of time, until I either find a good way to bring it back, or someone else asks to take the reigns. Back when I made this video I hadn't really done such a thing before so this was sort of practice in a sense. I also didn't really have time that week to do a proper script or anything. x_x; * Usually when I make a game, sound and music comes last. This is because I feel that if I can't play a game silent, then the game is deficient visually. This is just me though.
