Today for the Season 7 finale of Ancient DOS Games, Gemini's taking a look at an extremely obscure but surprisingly significant exploration game made in the 90s but not released until 2002 called Crystal Pixels, developed by Alessandro Ghignola prior to his work on the better-known space exploration game Noctis IV.

Additional Information and Corrections:
* To visit the 80 Style website you can just go to https://80.style but if you'd like to grab Crystal Pixels in particular the main download page for it is here: https://80.style/#/hsp/worthy_relics/crystal_pixels~lone
* To download the ATM files for getting the atmospheres to render in the game I have a ZIP archive available from my own website:
https://www.pixelships.com/adg/files/atms.zip
* One of the members at the 80 Style site, Slaimon, put together a web-based Pixel Editor for Crystal Pixels awhile back which would've been nice to know about before I tried to make a pixel myself for the game! If you want to custom make pixels for Crystal Pixels this tool is INVALUABLE!
