How in the world is THIS going to work on a C64? :o
For the final week of No-Nostalgia Retro Gaming covering Commodore 64 titles, the votes are for Rainbow Islands, a port of the Taito arcade game to the C64 done by Graftgold and published through Ocean Software in 1990.
Regarding the "framerate" of this game, it's technically running at 50 FPS, however, it appears to be updating game logic on odd-numbered frames and animations on even-numbered frames, which is having some really weird effects on how the action looks, at least to my eyes. If anyone else is bothered by it feel free to post as such in the comments because rest assured, you're not the only one! :P
Starting with Week 101, we will begin covering TurboGrafx-16 games! :D
