The eternal city simulator! ...sorta...
Today on Ancient DOS Games, Gemini's taking a look at Afterlife, a city-building simulation game spearheaded by Michael Stemmle over at LucasArts and published in 1996. While having the typical creativity, wit, and charm you would expect from one of their titles, and plenty of inner complexities, the simulation falls notably short of achieving the same feeling the SimCity series does for a very specific reason, which should become more and more apparent as the episode unfolds. :B
