Know how Scorched Earth is "The mother of all games"? Well, by that logic, Quake is the motherf___er of all games! ;D Today on Ancient DOS Games, Gemini's taking a look at the original DOS version of Quake, a first person shooter developed by Id Software and published through GT Interactive in 1996. There are patches you can search for, such as "Ultimate Quake" but I'm unsure what the legality of these things are given how music licensing works. It's very possible the music was licensed to be included on GOG but couldn't be licensed for inclusion on Steam for whatever reason. * There's a couple editing glitches in this video but since I was over five hours late getting this out I didn't feel they were severe enough to further delay the video for.
