I think it goes without saying that the number "42" has had quite an impact over the years, thanks mostly to Douglas Adams. So it seemed appropriate to cover a game that was related to this number, even if only in the number of levels it had. :P

Additional Information and Corrections:
* Here's a quick link if you want to get a copy of the shareware version of Round 42:
https://www.dosgames.com/game/round-42/
* One neat thing that you don't get playing this game in DOSBox is the coloured border. You see, old CRT monitors are never calibrated perfectly so the screen would never go right up to the edges, leaving a border around the edge. Normally, this border is black, but CGA computers could change this border to one of 16 colours. Round 42 actually cycles the border colour in time with the music on the title screen!
* If you can't get the DOSBox graphics scalers working with this game, there's a particular reason why: The 160x100 CGA 16-colour graphics mode is TECHNICALLY still text mode and the scalers don't engage when text mode is in use! You might be able to get the scalers working by adding "forced" to your scaler selection, but I've never actually attempted this with this game. :B
