Originally Released: June 30th, 2012 ------------------------------------------ Dungeon crawls are rarely innovative, as most follow the typical formula set by classics such as DND/Telengard and Rogue, but Reaping the Dungeon (aka: Dungeon Rogue) was a very original take on the genre... even though the difficulty curve is a bit reversed. :B ------------------------------------------ Additional Information and Corrections: * Ron Heuse no longer has a requirement of having to link to his website from your own site or social media account to get a free copy of the full game! While I'm fairly certain v1.0 came out in 1993, I can't find a copy to verify this with. * Ron Heuse was working on a sequel to this game at some point but it has yet to materialize and I wasn't able to find out anything about it when I contacted him. I was actually thinking of making a similar game at some point with hardware acceleration, maybe even getting permission to release it as a sequel, but all that came of this idea was a very basic game engine. :P * After this game, Ron Heuse got into making Mahjong software, much like Steve Moraff did after he made his 3D dungeon crawls... Maybe these two guys are related somehow?
