Making good educational games is hard enough, given the necessity to balance educational context with fun... usually to the detriment of fun. However, not only are the Googol Math Games fun, they were made pretty much entirely by a single person.
Incidentally, having programmed math software professionally myself, I can safely say that math is much easier to make fun games out of than other educational topics like History, English, etc., although such games do indeed exist. :B

Additional Information and Corrections:
* Here's a quick link for those of you who want to try the Googol Math Games for yourselves:

* One thing you can do to kinda cheat is press the L key to change the highest numbers generated for parts of the equations. Changes to this setting have no effect on scoring!
* One tip I have for Googolpede is that if the letter you need to hit is right next to a wall, head at it straight on, rather than hugging the wall. This way, once you hit the letter, you can queue up your next move and be guaranteed to not hit the wall. If you try to hug the wall, you could very well hit it in the attempt!
