Part of a wholesome, complete, nutritious breakfast! :D Today on Ancient DOS Games, Gemini's taking a look at Chex Quest, one of the more unusual titles to be released in the mid-90s thanks to Digital Cafe, Ralston Foods, and General Mills, as part of a six-week-long promotion where the game was included on a CD included for free in boxes of Chex Cereal. This game is effectively Ultimate Doom, but with five brand new levels and everything else completely reskinned and reworked to be 100% family friendly. (Neither are your available weapons come to think of it...) * To answer the paradox as to how Chex could be one of my favourite cereals despite never having played this before until now, the answer is simple: Chex is a more RECENT favourite, as I first had it in the early 2000s, WELL after this promotion had been done.
