I love how the name is "Tomb" singular despite there being MANY tombs in this game... :P
Today on Ancient DOS Games, Gemini's taking a look at Pharaoh's Tomb, a platformer made by George Broussard under his Micro F/X banner before his days at Apogee and released in 1990. This is actually the predecessor to Arctic Adventure, a game which was covered many years ago in the early days of ADG.
Since the two games are virtually identical in terms of gameplay, this video focusses more on which is better, the original Pharaoh's Tomb, or the subsequent Arctic Adventure.

Additional Information and Corrections:
* Here's a link if you wish to grab this game for yourself:

* One thing I forgot to talk about as it's NOT a feature in Arctic Adventure is that some levels have triggers to turn Nevada invisible. This... is strictly a graphical effect and otherwise has no effect on the gameplay.
* Actually, I missed a few things. One of them are the windy levels which constantly push you in one direction, making it difficult to move around, though the windy levels themselves tend to have some of the simplest layouts to them.
* There's also a bug with pushable blocks in that, if you push one as close to the edge of a platform as you're allowed, it's impossible to push it back the other way, which can absolutely trip you up since the limit is actually a little earlier than you would expect.
