See? Not everything using CGA colour sucks! Today on Ancient DOS Games, Gemini's taking a look at Chopper Commando, an indie action title made by Mark Currie and released in 1990, though it was updated in 2014 by Harvey Patterson to fix a few minor issues and add sky colour changes for day vs. night. This episode covers how the game is played, how to obtain the game, and how to get it working best on modern systems using DOSBox.

Additional Information and Corrections:
* Here's the link for the game's page on the RGB Classic Games website if you wish to download it:

* The source code was written in Pascal, which explains some of the oddities it has if you try to run the game multiple times without leaving DOSBox or rebooting the computer if you try to run it on real hardware. It also may explain the odd keyboard issues I ran into, as my name has both an M and and N in it, which are the keyboard keys used for missiles and megabombs respectively, which would thus explain the MASSIVE explosions I was getting when trying to start new pilots. :P
* The mission I was referring to with a "plane" you had to destroy in one minute is actually a "helicopter" you have to destroy. Brilliant proofing on my part. :B
* I'm not going to explain how to get to the secret area, though to be honest, it's pretty easy to accidentally discover given what you have to do in one of the missions. :B
